Delve into the soul of SiAH and discover the true taste of authenticity.
Our white wine is unique, made with exquisite native grapes, including Treixadura, Godello and Albariño, from estates located in Leiro, in Ourense, within the prestigious D.O Ribeiro.
Leiro, is located in the Avia river valley, combines Mediterranean and Atlantic climates, creating a microclimate thanks to the mountains.
These temperature variations between day and night favor ripening, giving our wine a truly distinctive character.
The soils in which our grapes flourish are a special type called “sábrego”, rich in granite, offering a perfect bed for the growth of our grapes. In addition to offering optimal ventilation and orientation in the vineyards.
The last vintage 2023, presented a warmth at the end of the ripening season that allowed the harvest to take place on first week of September , consequently achieving an optimal alcohol level. From SiAH, we take care of every detail, from the soil to the glass, to capture the essence of the region and the exceptional character of our native grapes.
Vintage 2023 now in the barrels and in the foudres, we will bottle in early summer 2024.
Technical Data
GRAPE VARIETY AND PRODUCTION
At SiAH, we create a wine that reflects the richness of the native varieties of Ribeiro: Treixadura, Godello and Albariño. Our process is a symphony of artisanal techniques, preserving the integrity of the grapes.
Fermentation occurs in Foudre, the wine is aged on its lees, with batonage for 9 months at 14º- 16º. Our grapes are transformed into a nectar that captures the essence of the region.
Finally, in July 2020, it was time to bring our wine to life by packaging it with the utmost care and attention to detail.
